This shirt saved lives 35 years ago. July 13, 2020 is the 35th anniversary of Live Aid! This was my 2nd purchase on eBay when I first discovered the site over 20 years ago. I wear it once a year. Oh, how I wish I had been there. Instead I was transfixed by the TV for a chunk of the day and the ABC special that night. That concert was one of the most formative events of my childhood, showing me how TV and music can be used to do big, great things and cementing a lifelong love of pop music.
